Model Wins $15M Rape Lawsuit Against Grammy-Winning Producer ‘Detail’

Grammy-winning music producer Detail lost a $15 million rape lawsuit to a woman who alleged in a lawsuit that she was raped and sexually and emotionally abused by him back in 2016.

Kristina Buch, who’s a model and aspiring singer, accused the producer of raping her after he agreed to help launch her music career in 2016. Buch claims that when the two first met after she moved to Los Angeles, Detail, whose real name is Noel Fisher, was happy to work with her.

She says that after they worked in the studio together for a little while, he started to become overly aggressive, abusive and told her that in order for her to advance her career, she would need to have sex with him. She says that when she rejected his advances, he eventually raped her.

Buch ended up filing a lawsuit against Detail in 2018, but his legal team never responded to the subpoena, which led to the judge issuing a default judgment against the producer. According to the Associated Press, the ruling in favor of Buch was made on Wednesday.

Buch is one of six women, amongst music-industry newcomers and a few established professionals, who have spoken out publicly against what they have said was sexual aggression from Fisher.

Two of the six women, who are former assistants of Detail’s, filed their own lawsuits in 2018. The producer and his legal team have started filing legal documents to fight those cases.

Detail claimed in court documents that he is innocent in relation to two other lawsuits with similar sexual allegations. He also stated that the allegations made against him have led to his inability to make money and land production jobs to support himself.

One of the producer’s most notable achievements was winning a Grammy for co-writing Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s hit ‘Drunk in Love’ and he’s also produced hits for many other A-list celebrities like Nicki Minaj and Wiz Khalifa.
