Mother Charged in Murder of 5-Year-Old Daughter, Accused of Selling Child for Sex

According to records made public Thursday, a mother of a 5-year-old Georgia girl who was found murdered in Alabama two weeks ago agreed to accept payment for another person to have sex with her daughter.

On Wednesday, Kristy Marie Siple, 35, also known as Kristy Hoskins, was charged with the death of Kamarie Holland on Dec. 13.

Her charges include murder during a kidnapping, murder during rape, murder during sodomy, and human trafficking.

37-year-old Jeremy Tremain Williams was previously charged with capital murder in Kamarie’s killing. Kamarie died from asphyxiation due to a ligature, according to the charging documents.

Siple is accused of deliberately subjecting another person to labor or sexual servitude, according to the human trafficking warrant.

The documents stated that “She did agree with another person to pay her for having sexual intercourse and sodomy with her minor daughter.”

During a tearful interview with WTVM before charges were filed against her, Siple said, “I’m a mommy and I did not have nothing to do with this. She was my life and I lived for her daily. She was my only daughter.”

At the time, Kamarie’s father, Corey Holland, had custody of the girl, according to Siple, and Kamarie was visiting her when she went missing.

Siple said she went to bed at midnight and awoke to find Kamarie gone and the front door open.

On Dec. 13, Siple reported her daughter missing to 911, and the ordeal began.

Police in Columbus initiated an investigation right away and swiftly identified Williams as a possible suspect. Officials earlier stated that Siple and Williams knew each other but were not dating.

According to the sheriff, Williams and a relative were found at the Bamboo Motel on Opelika Road in Phenix City. The hotel employees told authorities that they had been there for around 30 minutes before the investigators arrived.

According to Sheriff Heath Taylor, investigators also discovered a previous Phenix City address for Williams. They arrived at the address, which was a vacant house, and found Kamarie’s body.

In addition to the charge of capital murder of a person under the age of 14, Taylor said that more charges against Williams are expected to include capital murder during a kidnapping, capital murder during rape, capital murder during sodomy, and production of child pornography.

According to police, in 2009, Williams was charged with child abuse and was acquitted in 2012.

Taylor also stated that Williams was accused of child abuse in Columbus, but the outcome of that case was unknown at the time.

Furthermore, officials have information that Williams was a suspect in the death of a 1-year-old in Alaska, but he was never charged because of a lack of evidence.

On Tuesday, Siple was arrested for murder and human trafficking.

According to court records, she is scheduled to stand trial in February on a charge of chemical endangerment of a child, which she was charged with in 2018. She exposed her unborn child – not Kamarie – to marijuana while pregnant.

“This is a case that tugs at everybody’s heartstrings,” Russell County Chief Deputy District Attorney Rick Chancey said Wednesday. “To go to that funeral the other day, it just breaks your heart to know that Kamarie is no longer with us.”

“Please, parents, take care of your kids, watch your kids,” Chancey said. “Be careful who your kids are around. I shouldn’t have to state that. This is a bad world and let’s take care of our kids.”
