Natural Light Beer is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a quirky concept no one saw coming. The beer brand is officially entering the lawn care conversation with a playful stunt that turns yard equipment into a cheeky symbol of love.
The idea is called Lawngerie, which is exactly what it sounds like. It is lingerie-inspired coverage designed specifically for lawn mowers. The product is meant to dress up lawn equipment while leaning hard into humor and over-the-top romance.
“Lawngerie is a lacy, silky protective cover to keep lawn care equipment looking extra sexy and ensure your equipment maintains its cutting edge,” Natural Light Beer said.
The release is paired with a social media sweepstakes that gives one fan the chance to win the Lawngerie along with a brand new lawn tractor. To enter, participants must be 21 or older and comment “#NattyLawngerie” and “#Sweepstakes” on designated Natural Light Beer posts across Facebook, Instagram, or X. The contest kicked off on February 10 and runs through February 14.
This campaign is not random. Natural Light Beer has been leaning into lawn-centered humor for months. In January, the brand introduced the Treadmower, a treadmill layered with turf. Back in November, it launched Garageflage, camouflage-themed apparel designed for hiding out in the garage during the holidays.
The strategy is simple. Take everyday suburban staples and flip them into conversation starters. Whether people laugh, cringe, or immediately start tagging friends, the goal is attention. And with Lawngerie, Natural Light Beer proves once again that even lawn mowers are fair game for a Valentine’s Day moment.
