NBA Names All-Star MVP Award After Kobe Bryant

The NBA and players have been honoring the late Kobe Bryant in every way possible to show the impact he made on everyone’s life after his untimely death.

As many are in Chicago for All-Star weekend, it’s only right to continue to show love for Bryant this weekend and years to come.

According to NBC Sports, the All-Star MVP award will now be called the NBA All-Star Game Kobe Bryant MVP Award.

The 2020 All-Star game will feature several tributes to the Los Angeles Laker legend, including his No. 24.

LeBron James’ team will wear No.2 for Kobe Bryant’s daughter, Gianna Bryant. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s team will all wear No. 24.

Great way to continue the legacy of Kobe Bryant! The renamed award will make its debut on Sunday following the exhibition between Team LeBron and Team Giannis.
