New Music Friday is full of heat, from full-length projects to exciting singles, and rap veteran Juvenile is kicking things off.
The Hot Boys star released his long-awaited album, “Boiling Point.” After the viral success of “BBB Remix,” featuring Megan Thee Stallion, Juvenile has given his fans a new batch of tracks. In addition to the Hottie, the project features Birdman, Mannie Fresh, Swizz Beatz, Jacquees, DJ Khaled, and his son Young Juve. The arrival of “Boiling Point” comes nearly seven years since his last album, “Just Another Gangsta,” a collaboration project with Birdman. Across 20 tracks, Juvenile proves once again that after over two decades in the game, he remains one of the South’s biggest GOATs.
Fresh out of prison, Fetty Wap is back with “Zavier,” and based on early reviews, fans are not disappointed. The 17-song project finds the New Jersey star in a reflective state, while staying true to the melodic bops that have defined his career. The feature list is stacked, with appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Max B, G Herbo, and longtime friend and collaborator Monty. As he continues to push his comeback, this crooner doesn’t appear to have missed a beat.
Yung Bleu continues his steady flow of releases with “World At War.” With 12 new records, he keeps the features to a minimum, with only HoneyKomb Brazy and Trap Dickey. While fans have grown accustomed to his R&B vibes, Yung Bleu leans heavily into his bars on “World At War,” reminding his supporters that while he can carry a tune, hip-hop remains at the forefront.
