New SunnyD Vodka Seltzer Offers The 90s Orange Juice With An Adult Spin

SunnyD has a new way for parents to unwind once they put the kiddos to bed.

Widely known for its sugary orange drink, the company has introduced its SunnyD Vodka Seltzer. The unique quencher will have an ABV of 4.5%, which is on track with other seltzers of today. Fans of the citrus drink, which thrived in the 90s, are now grown-ups who can enjoy this spiked punch with an adult kick. With renewed interest in SunnyD as a whole, there is no better time for the company to unveil this new addition.

Harvest Hill Beverage Company, which owns SunnyD, says they were motivated to introduce an adult beverage after learning that the juice is popularly used as a chaser.

“Many have told us that they enjoy SunnyD as a mixer and asked for this product,” stated company Chief Marketing Officer Ilene Bergenfeld.

Before giving it the green light, Harvest Hill held a SunnyD Vodka Seltzer taste test, which was met with positive reviews from those who tried it. An impressive 57% of participants felt it was better than the hard seltzers they are used to. A total of 85% thought that the flavor was unique.

To roll out the SunnyD Vodka Seltzer, a deal was struck with Walmart to bring the drink exclusively to their beer aisles nationwide. Beginning Saturday, March 11th, customers can grab a four-pack of these 12-ounce Slim Cans for just $9.99. Even better is they only contain 95 calories and zero grams of sugar, ensuring a guilt-free turn-up.
