New Year’s Eve Starter Kit: What Do You Need To Make It Successful?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

With 2018 around the corner, It’s time to say cheers to a new year, somewhat of a fresh start, and new memories. Most people look at the start of a new year as a time for a much needed change. We hear sayings like, “New year, new me,” “I’m never looking back,” or “This is gonna be my year.”

To many, it’s positive energy only, bringing in the new year with your close friends and family because you already know it’s a vibe. Some feel the need to cut off those who are holding them back and with a brand new year approaching, their set on getting rid of all negative energy and bad habits. Then you have the ones who really just bossed up this year and are counting their blessings and planning to go even harder in 2018.

OR… all of the above!

However it goes, it’s a new beginning for all of us, and it’s time to celebrate the start of a new year!

So, here are a few things that you may or may not need in your NYE starter kit:

Money – Now it’s tough to say if you’ll need this or not, but it doesn’t hurt to have a little extra cash on you. NYE is one of the most common celebrations across the world. Depending on what you’re doing or who you’re spending it with, it could get expensive, so be sure to come prepared to empty your pockets a little-Or if you’re like some people, all you want to do is relax, reflect, and save your money instead.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A Good Time – A lot of people believe in the NYE tradition of bringing the new year in with a bang! There will be a NYE party pretty much everywhere, so it won’t be hard to find, it’s just really about who you choose to turn up with. But if you’re like some, you might just want to have more of a chill night. You don’t mind spending it on the couch with bae or the kids and who says you can’t enjoy it at home? At the end of the day, you just want good vibes, good people, and good karma around you.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Goals – Now as cliché as it sounds, you know there are some changes you can make in the upcoming year. Whether it’s your mindset, something physical, or a certain habit you’re trying to break, something has to go. But also make sure you continue doing something that works for you, and go even harder with it. Be realistic, but challenge yourself. Change is always good.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So whether you’re popping bottles, kicking it with bae, going to work, spending it with family, or saying a prayer… Do whatever YOU need to bring in your new year right.

Now, what’s in your New Year’s Eve Starter Kit? What do you need to make it successful? What kind of vibes are you feeling?

Let’s toast to blessings on top of blessings, many lessons learned, and a Happy New Year!
