Nick Cannon opens up about body issues that men face by admitting to feeling insecure about his thin physique in the bedroom.
On Wednesday’s episode of The Nick Cannon Show, the father of seven held a “Man Panel,” where he and buddies, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Chris Distefano, Rip Michaels, and Dr. Ish Major, a board-certified psychiatrist and relationship expert, spoke on issues they face when it comes to lovemaking. Cannon admitted that being slim his entire life has led him to conceal his body as much as possible when he’s with a woman.
“I’ve never liked to be completely naked. It’s usually like, I hide under the covers. As much as I boast about being in shape,” he said. He says he feels most comfortable wearing some form of clothing, even if it’s only a pair of socks, never going full nude.
Dr. Major later chimes in, stating that this is all a part of being vulnerable, which is needed for any healthy relationship and sex life.
In recent months, 41-year-old Cannon has become increasingly outspoken about his body and health. Just days ago, he detailed nearly dying from Lupus a decade ago when he became extremely ill and was hospitalized with blood clots and severe edema, which is swelling caused by fluid trapped in the body’s tissues.
