Nicki Minaj Set to Star In and Executive Produce Alongside 50 Cent in New Animated Series ‘Lady Danger’

Nicki Minaj is set to star in and executive produce a new animated Amazon Freevee series called Lady Danger.

According to Deadline, the series will be based on the Dark Horse comic book series by Alex de Campi.

50 Cent is set to executive produce alongside her as well as Brian Sher, and Paul Young & Mike Griffin for Make Good Content and Starburns Industries is the animation studio.

The series will reportedly take place in 2075 and follows an “agent who is left for dead by her team after discovering a dangerous secret, only to be resurrected as Lady Danger, an Afro-futuristic ass-kicking Agent of B.O.O.T.I. (Bureau of Organized Terrorism Intervention).”

Deadline says the heroine keeps her identity a secret while facing “villains who are destroying the earth and its vulnerable inhabitants.”

On Tuesday, 50 revealed the news on his Instagram, “What you doing today, we working @nickiminaj South Side you already know what it is. … I don’t miss,” he wrote.

There is currently no information available about the co-stars who will appear alongside Nicki in the production.
