Nicki Minaj is facing a lawsuit from one of her most devoted fans, who claims the rap superstar publicly humiliated him and labeled him as a mentally unstable stalker. The fan, Tameer Peak, has filed a $5 million lawsuit against Nicki in L.A. Superior Court, alleging that the “Super Bass” rapper has caused him reputational harm, emotional distress, and financial loss.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Tameer Peak describes himself as one of Nicki’s biggest supporters over the last 15 years. He claims to have actively promoted her work, including her 2023 album “Pink Friday 2.” However, things allegedly took a dark turn in 2017 when Nicki went through what she called her “Nicki hate train” phase, where she reportedly began accusing fans like Tameer of being paid moles sent to sabotage her career.
Peak alleges that Nicki publicly ridiculed him multiple times, including inviting him to her hotel in an attempt to embarrass him in front of 100,000 viewers on Instagram Live. He also claims that during Super Bowl weekend in 2020, Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, assaulted him, with Nicki later acknowledging the incident in a direct message.
In 2024, Tameer says the harassment escalated when he received messages suggesting that Nicki wanted him to “stop saying dumb s–t,” which he believes damaged his reputation among other fans. He also accuses Nicki of targeting him on Twitter (now X) during several live sessions on Stationhead, where she allegedly implied that he was mentally unstable, calling him “one sandwich short of a picnic” and suggesting he was on welfare.
Peak further claims that Nicki labeled him a “stalker” who impersonated members of her team, accusations that he says have severely tarnished his reputation. As a result, he’s seeking $5 million in damages.
Nicki’s attorney, Judd Burstein, strongly denies these allegations, telling TMZ, “Mr. Peak has been harassing Nicki on social media for years on end to no avail. He has now graduated to seeking to shake her down financially with manifestly false allegations and legally frivolous claims. He will regret having gone down this disreputable road when he is forced to pay her legal fees as required by California law.”
