Nike’s ReactX Rejuven8 Slide “Touch Grass” pack steps onto the scene looking like a headline all by itself, instantly positioning the new drop as one of .SWOOSH’s most unexpected plays to close out the year.
The reveal marks another bold move from .SWOOSH, Nike’s once-Web3 experiment that has steadily transformed into a gaming-inspired incubator for the brand’s quirkiest and most culturally aware ideas. The division has already delivered retro gaming Air Max 1s and the viral “Dirty Triple White” AF1 that appears to clean itself through wear. Following its successful Yu-Gi-Oh! Air Max 95 launch, .SWOOSH is ending its breakout run with a slide designed straight from internet discourse.
Earlier in the week, a cryptic teaser had many anticipating a PlayStation collaboration. But the official unveiling confirmed a different story. The “Touch Grass” pack leans directly into the widely used online phrase encouraging people to unplug and step outside. Two distinct versions of the ReactX Rejuven8 Slide anchor the release. One arrives in a full “Kelly Green” shag-textured exterior, featuring a hand graphic printed on the footbed and a witty “FOR INDOOR USE ONLY” message stamped across the outsole. The second pair flips the concept with an all-over dead-grass brown print, complete with the same hand detail and themed packaging to round out the set.
Nike has previewed the slides through .SWOOSH’s official Instagram, though, a confirmed drop date has yet to be announced. Current expectations point to a December 19 release on Nike SNKRS, priced between $75 and $85. With this rollout, .SWOOSH appears ready to close the year with a light touch and a knowing wink.
