North West is stepping further into the spotlight, while continuing to experiment with music. The 12-year-old recently previewed a new track with her father, Ye, giving fans another glimpse into her growing artistic voice.

The song, titled “Piercing on My Hand (Ye’s version),” surfaced through a short Instagram Stories snippet where North raps, “Piercing on my hand, the other holding bands,” followed by, “No friends, just filter, you wouldn’t understand.” The bars land with confidence, signaling that she is comfortable owning her individuality.

Throughout the track, North mixes playful flexes with blunt honesty.

“Went to school for two days, then I got banned/Skipping school, yeah, I do it on the daily,” she raps, before adding, “Got some new rings, yeah, they’re so crazy.” She continues, “All my friends are hits, you know I’m not lazy/You’re so angry that I’m so mainstream.”
