It’s a Wrap for Demon Time: OnlyFans to Ban Porn Starting in October

If you’ve been getting your bag from OnlyFans, you might want to pay attention to this news.

The subscription-based platform, which has been largely used for adult content and lucrative for many, will be banning porn starting October 1.

The reason why? It seems like they’ve been dealing with some outside pressure. In a statement to Variety, the company said it is making the changes “to comply with the requests of our banking partners and payout providers.” In addition, they are also looking to evolve, “in order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the platform and to continue to host an inclusive community of creators and fans.”

There may be some flexibility for nude content as the company said creators will continue to be allowed to post content containing nudity “as long as it is consistent with our Acceptable Use Policy.” Creators will be able to post nudity except in the case of content featuring public nudity recorded in or broadcast from a jurisdiction where public nudity is illegal.

More details on the updated changes will be shared by the company soon.

Is OnlyFans about to stop your bag?
