Oreo Dropping ‘Chocolate Confetti Cake’ Flavor for 110th Birthday

They grow up so fast! Oreo is celebrating 110 years on March 6, and introducing a new cookie flavor. The Nabisco cookie was introduced on March 6, 1912 and has been a fan favorite ever since. Oreo is marking the milestone year by releasing a limited edition Chocolate Confetti Cake.

The flavor will be available in stores Jan. 31, but you can preorder it right now!

This is the first time the cookie will have sprinkles on the inside and the outside. It also has two layers. The first layer will be a confetti vanilla creme that fans love, while the second layer is a rich chocolate flavor all in a classic chocolate cookie.

Oreo’s U.S. Brand Manager Sydney Kranzmann says, “For over a century, Oreo has brought fun, playful experiences to fans and we will continue to do just that as we celebrate our 110th birthday.”

To kick off the celebrations, Oreo is offering loyal consumers to RSVP for the VIP lists to enjoy a discount on Oreo products and some prizes of the year. The site has all the details to qualify for some sweet sweepstakes including a baking class with cronut creator Dominique Ansel or basketball experience with Slam Dunk Champion Dwight Howard.

Looks like this is just the beginning of an exciting year for Oreo.
