Orlando Scandrick Apologizes, Says He Bought Draya’s Engagement Ring

Earlier this week Orlando Scandrick took to TMZ to announce that he has called off the engagement with his girlfriend of 2 years, Basketball Wives star, Draya Michele. In the same week rumors that the engagement was fake and Draya purchased her own engagement ring began to surface on the internet. Scandrick took to the blogs to refute those rumors, saying that the stories were a lie and that he has much respect for Draya. “I have a great deal of respect for her at this time, we just weren’t able to make things work.” Scandrick told Baller Alert exclusively, after making initial statements to TMZ that getting engaged to Draya was a poor decision.

He now tells TMZ that he apologizes, saying, “I let my emotions fly impulsively. Draya is a great mother, works hard and I wish her nothing but the best. I still love her.” He also said that there was no cheating involved in their break up. 

Draya posted a meme to Instagram later that night that read, “Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you’ll understand what little chance you have in trying to change others” in which Orlando left the comment, “Fuck You” underneath. 

I guess the love and respect for Draya is once again out the window. That didn’t take long.
