O’Ryan is stepping back into the spotlight with new music and a TV project alongside his brother Omarion, but it turns out he’s been focused on his most important role: being a father.

In a recent interview on The Baller Alert Show with hosts BT and Ferrari Simmons, the R&B singer shared that he has two teenage children, 16 and 14 years old, and purposely took time off from entertainment to be a full-time parent during their formative years.
Being present in their early development was super important to me,” he explained. “So the music and entertainment, I just put that to the side.”
O’Ryan said the break not only strengthened his relationship with his kids and family, but also helped him rediscover himself. Now, after years of focusing on fatherhood, he feels more grounded and is ready to return to the spotlight with a clear purpose.
O’Ryan welcomed his daughter, Namiko, with Jhené Aiko in 2008. However, the identity and mother of his youngest child are unknown.
