Pete Davidson is not precisely bothered by Kanye West’s threats on his new song where he claimed he would “beat [his] ass.”
Last week, Kanye released a track featuring The Game where he raps: “God saved me from that crash/so that I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass.”
However, Davidson is not even the slightest bit concerned.
“Pete thinks it’s totally hilarious,” said a source, “Not just that — he thinks the whole [tabloid drama with him, West and Kardashian] is hilarious. He loves it.”
According to a source, Davidson is used to being scrutinized because of his streak of high-profile relationships with women like Ariana Grande, Cazzie David, and Kaia Gerber. But, being with a Kardashian puts him under even more pressure.
“It’s funny to him that the press wants to know his every move all of a sudden,” said the source.
Since then, the new couple has unexpectedly benefited from West’s song. Another source told Page Six that “the whole craziness with Kanye last week brought Kim and Pete closer.”
During an interview with Hollywood Unlocked CEO Jason Lee, West also took aim at the comedian, claiming that Kardashian barred him from entering her home with their children since Davidson was over.
According to PageSix, a source for Kardashian says that “Pete has yet to be introduced to Kim’s kids, and it’s widely known that whenever he visits her in L.A., he stays at a hotel in Beverly Hills where she’s been spotted with him.”
Despite the two agreeing to have different parties, Kanye took to social media to claim that Kim was not allowing him to celebrate his daughter Chicago’s birthday. However, he did eventually make it to the event nonetheless.
“Kim and Pete can talk to each other about what is going on,” said a source. “It’s nice to have someone to share concerns with.”
According to sources, West’s dislike for Davidson began long before he started dating his ex-wife.
