Police Discover Dead Body In Undercarriage At Frankfurt Airport, Body Arrived On Inbound Tehran Flight

On Thursday, police discovered a dead body at Frankfurt Airport that had arrived on an inbound flight from Tehran.

The body of a male was found in the undercarriage of a Lufthansa plane by employees. The body was discovered after routine maintenance checks around 5:30 am local time, CNN reported.

“We can confirm that during the routine check of a Lufthansa Airbus A340-300 after landing in Frankfurt yesterday, a dead body was discovered in the aircraft’s landing gear bay.”

Frankfurt police said that the dead body at Frankfurt airport was aside an oxygen can with a mask, Travel Noire reported.

Investigations are underway to find out more information about the corpse. “The responsible authorities are currently on site to investigate the background together with experts from the company. We ask for your understanding that we cannot provide any further information against the background of the ongoing investigation,”

The discovery of the body comes after much unrest in Iran after the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman detained and died in police custody for ‘improper attire.’
