POTUS Addresses Trayvon Martin, Says It Could’ve Been Him

For those who have been asking why President Obama hasn’t come out and said anything in regards to Trayvon Martin and the acquittal of George Zimmerman, this is for you. The POTUS had more than a mouthful to say today as he addressed obvious racism in this country. He talks about how African Americans experience being followed on a day to day basis or how people lock their car doors when African Americans walk across the street. He even said that Trayvon could have been him 35 years ago. Needless to say this is one of those moments many black people needed to hear.
