Prince Harry And Meghan Markle ‘Unlikely’ To Return To Social Media

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have no plans to return to social media anytime soon — if ever.

According to the Times of London, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex received a lot of “hate” on social media, making it “very unlikely” the couple will have an online presence. Even their Archewell Charity will forego having its own social media accounts but does have a Spotify podcast.

Before breaking away from the royal family, the two had amassed more than 10 million followers. They used their “Sussex Royal” profile to announce their plan to leave the royal family. Since the announcement in March of 2020, the account has remained virtually abandoned.

They also used the platform to announce the name of their son, Archie.

Meghan Markle previously spoke about the cyberbullying she received, calling it “unsurvivable,” during an appearance on the Teenager Therapy podcast in October of last year.
