Prosecutors Want Tekashi 6ix9ine To Receive Harsher Sentencing For Consistent Bad Behavior

Prosecutors want to make sure Tekashi69 serves his due time in prison and they aren’t letting up.

Tekashi hasn’t been on his best behavior and regardless of how terrible his bad deeds are he somehow seems to always get off with a light sentence. Manhattan Assistant D.A. Sara Weiss sent a letter to Judge Mennin outlining how the New York internet star has “Failed to mature into the law-abiding adult anticipated by the plea agreement which he signed on October 20, 2015.” The letter is a result of his ongoing case involving his guilty plea of using a child in a sexual performance.

The judge cites that since signing his plea he has done nothing to reconcile his reputation. Following the signing, the rapper has claimed to be a “member of the 9 Trey Bloods” and exhibited “violent conduct related to that gang.” The Blast reports that while he is now a “successful recording artist” he is still an active member of a violent gang who exploits his involvement on social media. Tekashi’s “trolling” has also been seen as a way to start trouble with other artists in the hip-hop arena. Even though it has helped his sales, it’s also led to “real-life violence.” Two of those of incidents include him being with the gunman who shot at Casanova at Barclays back in April, and back in June when #ChiefKeef and his posse were shot at in NYC after his beef with Tekashi.

#6ix9ine’s latest confrontation was with an officer last week. The rapper will appear in a Brooklyn court on Tuesday for assaulting a cop. Thursday he will meet in a Houston court for choking a 16-year-old. He will receive his child sex charge sentencing on Friday.
