Bankroll Freddie was arrested and taken into custody on multiple firearms and drug charges.
Authorities arrested Bankroll Freddie, whose real name is Freddie Gladney, on Thursday in Arkansas. A spokesperson for the Sheriff’s office confirmed that Freddie was hit with a slew of charges.
The Quality Control rapper was charged with resisting arrest/refusal to submit to arrest/active or passive refusal, “simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.” In addition, he was also charged with a felony count of possession of a schedule VI controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, speeding and an additional possession charge.
Freddie is currently being held at the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office. The rapper did have a bond set at $2,870 but has since been removed from public records.
Freddie joined the Quality Control label in 2019 after releasing his “Saved By The Bales” mixtape. In 2021, he dropped his “Big Bank” album via Quality Control and Motown Records. The album featured many collaborations with Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, Young Dolph, 2 Chainz and many more.
