Rapper and songwriter SpotemGottem is wanted in connection to a murder.
The Dallas Police Department is looking to bring the rapper in for questioning over his music lyrics, which allegedly hinted that he was involved in a homicide in Dallas in 2020.
The victim’s name was Reginald Agnew Jr.; he was fatally shot while going to Club Tropics to attend a party. Detective Patty Belew believes the rapper bragged about the murder in a video for his song “Again.”
This isn’t the 19-year-old’s first time running into the law. Last month, the rapper was arrested by U.S. Marshals for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. At the time, the teen was lying in an Aventura, FL hotel room with an AK-47 on his lap.
He was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
