Reflecting on their time together on “That’s So Raven” and his career since then, she described Brown as “an unhinged Katt Williams of his generation,” highlighting his sharp wit and unpredictable energy. Clarifying her remark, she added, “Not you, Katt. You’re hinged and I love for you it. He’s smart.”
While acknowledging Brown’s complicated history, Raven emphasized that she does not feel the need to publicly critique him. She said, “I will always be this way with Orlando,” praising his humor and professionalism despite his controversial public statements.
Raven also compared Brown’s current persona to a wrestling term, noting that he is in an “attack era” of his career.
“That’s why I do not combat Orlando, because some of the things that he says I’m not mad at him for,” she explained. “Listen, you have to know how to bait people in this industry, then say the truth, and then leave on a button. I think he does that perfectly.”
The actress made it clear that she is not upset with Brown, adding, “Just keep my name out your mouth.” She also admitted, “Some of the stuff he says is real,” though she chose not to elaborate further.
Raven has previously commented on Brown, calling him a “comedic genius” earlier this year while avoiding confirmation of any specific claims he made publicly.
