Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who is currently dominating the box office for his lead role in ‘Jumanji’ alongside Kevin Hart, is taking his talents to television with NBC.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the actor is teaming up with A. Smith Co. Productions and Universal Television Alternative Studio for a new competition show for the network.

With the producers of “American Ninja Warrior” and “World of Dance,” alongside Johnson’s production company, Seven Bucks Productions, “The Titan Games,” will “offer everyday people the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete in epic head-to-head challenges designed to test mind, body, and heart.”2

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“We wanted to create a new kind of athletic competition, unlike anything ever attempted before. ‘The Titan Games’ will challenge competition to succeed in ways no one thought possible while entertaining the whole world at the same time,” Johnson, who will also star in the show, said of the competition.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“With ‘The Titan Games’, we wanted to create a platform that would allow competitors of the highest caliber to be tested on multiple levels, to grow, to battle for success and ultimately be given their moment in the spotlight,” Johnson’s ex-wife and Seven Bucks co-founder said of the new show. “We have found the perfect collaborators in NBC, Universal Television Alternative Studio, and A. Smith & Co. Productions to bring this all to life.”

Show execs are currently searching for competitors.
