Royce White Leaves D-League, Heads Back To Houston Teamless

Our good friend Royce White has reportedly left the D-League and headed back to Houston. The father-of-4-to-be has been attending practices in Houston, but made it very clear that he is not on the Rocket’s roster.

Via Twitter:

“Have been advised by our team physician it is most logical I be in Houston the remainder of the season.Thank you @rgvvipers for having me. Never said I’d be rejoining the @HoustonRockets… only that I’d be returning to Houston. Don’t understand the uproar because I’m working out in Houston… Lol, relax ppl! Showing you’re too high strung over sports.

Now before I go any further allow me to leave you with this little disclaimer.

The following is the opinion of me, Eleven8, and not that of Baller Alert the site, Boss or anyone else affiliated with the site.

Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, is it me or is Royce White a brat? I was rooting for this guy when it was looking bleak for him getting drafted. Then the Rockets picked him up and he has done nothing but complain ever since. Obviously part of his job requires that he travel (by plane). Unfortunately due to his condition he has not, nor has he made many attempts to get where he has to go by other means. He complains that the organization hasn’t done anything for him but honestly, what else can they do for you? He missed games and practices, went AWOL and ended up playing D-League, now he left the D-League? While you have half the nation pregnant in a race to see who’s going to have your next baby? Explain to me how this works out because I would love to know. Anyone with common sense knows the Rockets will not be picking him back up. Not now and not ever. Maybe he’ll play overseas if he can catch a boat ride. Sir, you have 4 children to feed and you’re only 21. Nobody has time for this bratty behavior, grow up. Again, that’s my opinion and if Mr. White wants to come for me, My twitter is ELEVEN8 just like everything else is. It’s high time he learns to take some responsibility and stop acting like the kid he no longer is.
