Sean Combs & Salesforce Launch SHOP CIRCULATE, A Digital Marketplace For Black-Owned Businesses

Sean “P Diddy” Combs has partnered with Salesforce to launch SHOP CIRCULATE, a digital marketplace for Black-owned businesses.

Combs Enterprises and Salesforce announced SHOP CIRCULATE on Tuesday. The partnership will provide Black-owned brands with a platform to reach global consumers and presents the customers with a wide range of products and services exclusively by Black people.

Deloitte Digital, a top Experience Consultancy and global strategic partner for Salesforce, will design the program, and Marketplacer’s innovative online marketplace technology will power it.

“Building Black wealth starts with investing in Black-owned businesses and giving entrepreneurs access to the consumers needed to build sustainable companies that can thrive,” Combs said in a statement. “I’m excited to partner with Salesforce to create a platform that will advance our collective pursuit of economic justice.”

The marketplace’s announcement comes on the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre, which saw the destruction of black-owned businesses and the murder of approximately 300 African Americans. SHOP CIRCULATE showcases the significance of promoting and empowering Black entrepreneurs and generating wealth through “circulating” dollars within the Black community.

Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO of Salesforce, says that the company is “honored to collaborate with Sean Combs and Combs Enterprises to help close the unjust wealth gap that prevents too many Black Americans from achieving economic equality.”

SHOP CIRCULATE will go live later this year.
