Sha’Carri Richardson Seemingly Shades Usain Bolt After He Advised That She “Train Harder”

Sha’Carri Richardson shot back at retired Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt for saying that the young sprinter needed to train harder.

On Sunday, the 21-year-old shared a screenshot on her Instagram Story, which showed a fan slamming people for failing to give Richardson words of wisdom directly but continuing to speak about her in the media.

“Everybody want to give advice in the media, but none of them actually take the time to speak to her outside the media. So I feel her. Stop speaking on me when you don’t even speak to me,” the screenshot read. Richardson shared the image with the words “Good ‘humbling’ morning to y’all,” followed by, “I could not have said it better.”

The former Louisiana State University runner then posted a photo of herself with the caption, “Y’all haven’t even heard the half of me.” The subliminal shots appear to respond to Bolt telling The Post that Richardson should focus on training and less on trash talking after coming in last in a 100-meter dash race won by Jamaican sprinter Elaine Thompson-Herah in August.

“I would tell Sha’Carri to train harder and to be focused and not say too much,” Bolt stated before adding. “If you talk that big talk, you have to back it up.”

Before returning to the track in the highly anticipated Oregon race, Richardson was praised and criticized for her overly confident attitude towards the race. However, Bolt says the upcoming pro-athlete should work on her skill and “come back, do it and then talk about it.”
