Shannon Sharpe Gets Into Courtside Incident With Dillon Brooks, Tee Morant, And More At Lakers-Grizzlies Game [Video]

Shannon Sharpe traded barbs with Ja MorantDillon Brooks, and Steven Adams at Friday’s Los Angeles Lakers game versus the Memphis Grizzlies at Crypto.com Arena. The incident led to a heated discussion with Morant’s dad, Tee, and a crowd of people formed.

The incident happened at the end of the first half, leading the co-host of Skip and Shannon: Undisputed and Morant to be led off the court by security during halftime. Both were allowed to return to their seats before the game resumed in the third quarter.

ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reported that Sharpe spent halftime in the tunnel with security officials. Before returning to his seat, he explained what had happened in a brief interview with McMenamin.

“They didn’t want this smoke, Dave,” Sharpe told McMenamin. “They do all that talking and jockeying, and I ain’t about that jockeying. It started with Dillon Brooks. I said he was too small to guard LeBron. He said, ‘F*ck’ me. I said, ‘F*ck you’ back. He started to come at me, and I said, ‘You don’t want these problems.'”

He continued, “And the Ja came out of nowhere talking. He definitely didn’t want these problems.”

That’s when Morant’s dad, Tee, joined the fray.

“Then the dad came, and he obviously didn’t want no problems,” Sharpe explained. “But I wanted anything they had. Don’t let these fools fool you now.”

Sharpe and the older Morant appeared to make up later that night. The two were caught on video talking things out courtside. They embraced a couple of times before a smiling Morant turned to walk away.

The Lakers beat the Grizzlies 122-121.
