-blogged by @theRealAlexisDanielle

After taking over Thursday nights on ABC with hit shows like #Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, and How to Get Away With Murder, Shonda Rhimes is headed to Netflix.

The super producer is set to rollout a total of 8 shows on the digital streaming service.

Before you get to crying, Rhimes has already confirmed with Netflix’s chief content officer, Ted Sarandos, that she’s “not going to make you a second ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.”

Sorry super fans.

However, here are a few of the projects Rhimes will be bringing to the table:

1. “The Residence”- Will tell the story of a nonfiction book which chronicles the private lives of U.S. presidents, their family, and the staff.

2. “Reset”- Rhimes’ self-proclaimed “Fight for Inclusion and Lasting Change” which will be an adaptation of Ellen Pao’s book about fighting gender discrimination in Silicon Valley.

3. “The Warmth of Other Suns”- The true story of how Black people transitioned from the Jim Crow South to the North and West parts of the country.

4. “Hot Chocolate Nutcracker” – A documentary of Debbie Allen’s remake of the Nutcracker.

5. “Sunshine Scouts”- “A darkly comic, ironic, twisty show about some foul-mouthed teenage girls who are trapped at the end of the world” according to Rhimes.

6. “Anna Delvey” – Will tell the true story of the young woman who scammed NY socialites into funding her lifestyle.

7. “Bridgerton Series”- Tells the story of 8 siblings in the the 1800’s.

8. “Pico & Sepulveda”- Set in Mexican California during the 1840s.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
