Solange’s Friend & Business Partner, Armina Mussa, In Critical Condition After Being Stabbed 10 Times

Armina Mussa, who is the project director for Solange’s Saint Heron and a co-owner of Exodus Goods boutique, was stabbed 10 times on Wednesday by 26 year old Arronesia Christophe outside her New Orleans home. Arronesia Christophe was arrested and booked on  attempted second-degree murder and in support of her friend, Solange attended Christophe’s first court hearing Thursday.

According to NOLA.com, Arronesia Christophe admitted that she stabbed Mussa and says she was acting in self defense.   Christophe claims she arrived at a friend’s home around 6:45pm Wednesday evening, when Mussa came out of the house and began yelling at her to leave. Reportedly Armina Musa is the ex-girlfriend of the friend Arronesia Christophe came to visit, though she still lived in the home.

Per reports Christophe tells Mussa, “We’re just friends, why do I have to leave?” and  then grabbed a small folding knife from the center console of her car while telling Mussa to “get back,” and to “please back away.” She says Mussa continued to yell at her and began punching her and pulling her hair when Christophe began swinging the knife. She says she didn’t think she had stabbed Mussa because of how hard she was punching her.

Armina Mussa sustained multiple stab wounds that were considered potentially fatal, including at least one to her neck. After multiple surgeries, Mussa remains in critical condition. Christophe was originally booked on aggravated battery but her charges were upgraded Friday to  attempted second-degree murder due to the seriousness of Mussa’s injuries.
