Southern California Police Gun Down Black Man Who Was Running Away From Them [Video]

Video footage shows two Southern California police gunning down a Black man running away from them.

This past Saturday, two undercover police officers in San Bernandino opened fire on 23-year-old Rob Marquise Adams. Before the shooting, the video shows the two cops hopping out of an unmarked car and rushing toward Adams.

The man who police claim was holding a gun took off running and collapsed after being shot several times. The police say they responded to reports of a man with a gun walking in what appears to be the parking lot of a business. Adam’s mother says she was on the phone with her son moments before the shooting happened, saying that it wasn’t a gun in his hand but a cell phone.

One of Adam’s friends says the cops said nothing when they got out of the car and pulled their guns out.

“They just hopped out with the guns; they didn’t say anything. They didn’t identify themselves or anything,” says the friend, who was not named, CBS Los Angeles reports.

The officers say they gave Adams medical aid, but after being taken to a nearby hospital, he later died.

The San Bernardino Police Department has launched an investigation into the incident.
