Steph Curry Graduates College 13 Years After Entering the NBA

Another celebrity is celebrating a degree. Stephen Curry graduated from Davidson College in North Carolina after 13 years.

The Golden State Warriors basketball player received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. From 2006 to 2009, he attended the school but left after being drafted into the NBA. He calls the moment a “dream come true.”

The caption continues, “Class of 2010…aka 2022, but we got it done! Thanks to my whole village that helped me get across the finish line. Made the promise when I left and had to see it through. Official @davidsoncollege alum 🙌🏽 Momma we made it! #greatdaytobeawildcat.”

His wife, Ayesha Curry even reshared the joyous moment in his life. “Proud would be an understatement! Congratulations my love,” Ayesha, 33, wrote. “YOU DID IT!” 

Former Cleveland Cavaliers player J.R. Smith recently returned to school at North Carolina AT&T after retiring with $90 million in his savings. 

Black-ish actor Anthony Anderson recently graduated from Howard University after 30 years. 

Warriors team Instagram also highlighted Curry’s momentous achievement. 

The post reads, “13 years after entering the NBA, Stephen Curry is a college grad. Stephen completed his final semester of coursework this spring and will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Sociology from Davidson College. Congrats to the Class of 2022!”
