Golden State Warriors fans can finally sing and rejoice as their beloved NBA star, Steph Curry, has finally made his way back to the basketball court after suffering a broken left hand back in October 2019.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Curry returned to face the Toronto Raptors, the team that ended their championship run in the 2018-19 season.

“It feels like the first day of school pretty much all over again, which is exciting,” Curry said before the game, via ESPN. “So I feel pretty comfortable, pretty confident in where I’m at physically, and just excited to get back out there.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Surrounded by new teammates, Curry appeared to mesh well with Andrew Wiggins, who was traded to Golden State from Minnesota in exchange for D’Angelo Russell.

Curry’s first bucket came in the second quarter, after driving inside the arc, powering through Patrick McCaw and picking up the foul.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Down by 14 to start the third quarter, Curry and company made an impressive run, but it wasn’t enough as Toronto spoiled Curry’s return with a 121-113 win over Golden State at the Chase Center.

Curry finished the game with 23 points, seven assists and six rebounds in 27 minutes. He shot 6-of-16 from the field and went 3-of-12 from the 3-point line.

NBA players around the league were just as ecstatic for Curry’s return as the fans were. Check out the tweets below.
