Steve Harvey’s Talk Show Is Making a Comeback On Facebook Watch

Steve Harvey’s namesake talk show that was suddenly canceled earlier this year and replaced by Kelly Clarkson’s daytime show has found a new home on Facebook Watch.

The newly titled “Steve on Watch,” set to premiere on January 6th, has gone into production with episodes already being filmed in Atlanta at the newly built Tyler Perry Studios. The show will join the likes of ”Red Table Talk,” as the company moves forward with its content creating initiative. In a statement, Harvey expressed his contentment with the show’s new home.

“Reaching my audience anywhere and everywhere they are has always been the goal,” Harvey said Tuesday. “Facebook Watch viewers are the most energetic, engaged community, and so are my amazing fans. Getting all those people to directly engage on a platform like this is the perfect evolution of the show.”

The transition should be an easy one for the comedian and host, who’s Facebook already has over 11 million followers. In April 2019, Harvey’s Facebook page was the #6 most viewed U.S. entertainment page.
