Drake Throws Shade: Steve Lacy and Kendrick Lamar Respond to Drake's xQc Livestream [Video]

Drake’s light shade seemingly amused Steve Lacy and Kendrick Lamar during his livestream with xQc.

In case you missed it, Drizzy went live with the social media influencer, where they played various songs and talked about his upcoming endeavors. One of the tracks that came on shuffle was Lacy’s 2022 release, “Bad Habit.” As the single played, Drake called the performer a “fragile opp” before admitting he did like the song.

Lacy hopped on social media, where he reposted Complex’s coverage of Drake’s comments, writing “Yooooooooo” with the crying face emoji. He also shared an oversized emoji with the caption, “Who tryna be my…fragile opp.”

Also, during his time with xQc, Drake stated, “I’m here. Mind, body, and soul fully intact, in case you were wondering. You need facts to take me out; fairytales won’t do it.”

His words were an apparent dig at Lamar, with whom he exchanged words throughout 2024. Lamar shared his surprise album, “GNX,” on Friday, which caused many to further declare Drake as the loser of their rap war.  One of Lamar’s close friends, Reli, shared a screenshot of them discussing Drake’s livestream. In the conversation, Reli informs Lamar that he had “turned blood [Drake] into a streamer,” to which Lamar sends laughing emojis. Reli follows up with, “That’s a damn shame,” with Lamar probing, “He trippin??!” seemingly ready to diss Drake at any moment.

Drake also signaled his return to music in the stream, sharing that his joint project with PartyNextDoor was nearly complete.
