Back in November, Brooklyn rapper Tekashi69 was arrested and indicted on racketeering charges, in connection with his longstanding affiliation with the Nine Trey Blood Gang.
Since then, 6ix9ine has pleaded guilty to charges, in exchange for information. In fact, according to TMZ, the rainbow-haired rapper even allegedly implicated one of his associates in the Chief Keef shooting – violating the code of the streets.
So now, not only has the rapper lost his freedom and his street cred, according to the publication, he’s also put their family in danger and at risk for retaliation. But, according to Sara Molina, the mother of his child, this isn’t the first time the rapper has put her in danger.
In fact, in a new interview with The Daily Beast, the rapper’s ex opened up about his history of domestic violence, detailing several violent incidents throughout their seven year relationship.
“He punches me out of nowhere,” the 23-year-old recalled of an October incident at a hotel in Dubai, in which the impact of the punch pushed a hair clip into her scalp. “So I was leaking blood. There was blood on the hotel pillow cases. He got scared.”
Although she had just arrived from New York after a 14-hour flight, she was determined to fly back home after the incident. But, he convinced her otherwise.
According to Molina, the incident erupted over Tekashi’s insecurities, as he accused her of allowing his manager, Kifano “Shotti” Jordan, try to push up on her. However, amid his attempt to get her to confess, she said he confessed his own sins, admitting to sleeping with over 70 women in a year, producing pregnancies, and getting STDS.
“Basically, he admitted to me he is a sex addict,” she said, as he continued to coerce a confession.
“He started to punch me again,” she said. “He started beating me for two hours straight.”
“He had the craziest look in his eyes,” she continued. “I was scared. ‘Why is he acting this way?’ I had never seen him like that. He punched me so hard in my right ear I thought I was deaf.”
Exhausted from the struggle, she said she woke up beside him in the morning, and he forced her to have sex with him. But, when she finally saw her face, her eyes were swollen shut. However, she did not report the incident.
Fortunately, according to Molina, their daughter wasn’t there, but she was present for an April incident in New York, when she confronted him about a woman who claimed to be having his baby. She said her daughter, who was two at the time, was screaming and crying at the sight of her father beating her mother in the car, but luckily, Shotti, who was present at the time, pulled him off of her, asking, “Are you crazy.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Molina opened up about how the two met, explained how most of their violent incidents erupted over Tekashi69’s infidelities, and how she narrowly escaped the feds during the infamous raid that led to 6ix9ine’s charges. But now, as things continue to spiral for the father of her child, Molina is just trying to get her life back and raise her child the way she’s supposed to be.
“I’m just trying to take it all in,” she told The Daily Beast. “I’m trying to take it all in as best I can.”
“Sometimes, it feels unreal that it feels normal to me because it’s been going on for such a long time.”
“I feel like real love shouldn’t be complicated,” she said.
