Texas Man Dies By Same Bullet He Shot A Woman With

A man in Dallas, Texas, died by the same bullet he shot a woman with.

According to investigators, a 26-year-old man named Byron Redmon shot a woman in the neck, but the “bullet then exited and hit Redmon in the leg.” The incident occurred Saturday before police pulled up to an apartment building and found “a large amount of blood and blood trail in front of an apartment.”

Police were responding to reports of a shooting at the apartment. When they arrived, no one was there. Afterward, they received a call from the police that a man and woman were found inside with gunshot wounds, NBC News reports. Both the man and woman were outside the hospital in a parked car, seemingly at the time authorities received the call.

Redmon died later at the hospital; the female gunshot victim has yet to be identified.
