Get ready to raise your glass in style. Chicago’s Adalina restaurant is shaking up the cocktail scene with its jaw-dropping, luxury $13,000 “Marrow Martini.”
Located in the heart of the Windy City, Adalina, a chic Italian hotspot, has partnered with the renowned jewelry brand Marrow Fine to serve up a cocktail experience like no other. This extravagant drink comes with a dazzling, 9-carat diamond tennis necklace featuring 150 diamonds, set in 14k gold.
Spearheaded by Top Chef alum Soo Ahn, Adalina is redefining what it means to indulge. As Colin Hofer, Adalina’s manager, proudly shared, the “Marrow Martini” may very well be the most expensive martini in the entire country and is crafted with wealth in mind.
“Instead of traditional spirits like gin or vodka, I chose Mezcal because I believe it has untapped potential as a luxury spirit. Mezcal, much like heirloom jewelry, is often overlooked despite its richness. The particular Mezcal we use is a rare, sought-after brand made from Green Agave, native to the deserts of San Luis Potosí, Mexico,” Hofer explained in a statement.
Adalina’s proximity to Marrow Fine made the partnership a no-brainer, says Marrow founder Jillian Sassone. The restaurant’s vibrant atmosphere, led by a world-class chef, makes for the perfect setting to showcase this lavish creation.
Though it’s not an everyday order, this high-end cocktail has ignited curiosity and excitement among Adalina’s elite clientele. It may be advised to order this exquisite drink before even arriving, given its exclusivity.
