THE BALLER ALERT SHOW – EP. 201: The Cast Discuss Is Joined By Young Dro To Discuss Brittney Grinner’s Release, Kyrie Irving and Rick Ross & Pretty Vee.

Baller Alert, Baller Alert, Baller Alert! Welcome to The Baller Alert Show podcast, available everywhere you get your podcasts. On this episode, Young Dro joins Ferrari, BT, OCT and Su Solo to discuss Brittney Grinner going home, Kyrie Irving and Rick Ross & Pretty Vee.

The cast discussed how some are upset that Brittney Grinner is home. “It’s a prisoner swap with Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, AKA “The Merchant of Death,” said Ferrari.

The cast discussed what made the U.S. give in and complete the trade with Russia. Su Solo shared, “When they started talking about all of the homophobic things against her, all the racist things against her, that’s when the U.S was like, ‘we can’t stand for this.’ Anytime you throw in the LGBTQ Community, things seem to be taken a little more seriously,” said Su Solo.

The cast also discussed Kyrie Irving covering the Nike sign on his shoe following being dropped by the company.

Kyrie wrote, “I am free. Thank you, God…I am.”

BT argued that he wasn’t happy to be free when he was making money from the company.

“Why is he doing the “I am free? Bruh, you were making 11 million dollars,” argued BT

Love Vs. Money

On this episode, the cast discussed Pretty Vee and Rick Ross’s relationship and determined if they were together for love or money.

“Ross is in it for love, while Pretty Vee is in it for the business,” said Ferrari.

“Ross is a romantic, and I think he has a way with women. He’s a pretty cool, dapper guy,” said Young Dro.

Su Solo shared that she believes both of them are there for love.

Young Dro

Young Dro shared that sober life is pretty cool. Su Solo asked, “What are you sober from?”

“When Molly was out, X pills, Xanax, weed, liquor, cigarettes, Adderall, and Percocet,” said Young Dro.

You can put the mic in my hand, and you wouldn’t know I was on anything,” Young Dro said when asked how it affected his performance.

“Do you feel like your career would’ve been a lot further?” asked Su Solo.

Young Dro responded, “Yea, when it counted, I would be the most-high.”

“This sounds very expensive as well,” said Ferrari.

Young Dro shared that he spent five to ten thousand dollars on drugs a month to support his habit and to keep friends and girls around him.

“What made you decide to stop?” asked OCT

It was always in me to one day stop, but it just had a grip on me so tight.

‘You can not quit when you say.’ said Young Dro.

Young Dro also shared that seeing his daughter going down the same path led him to stop as well.

“It walked me all the way down to $0,” said Young Dro.

“What are your intentions with talking about sobriety?” asked Su Solo.

“I want to give out hope. I want to give my story,” said Young Dro. He included, “I just want to show young black men who think that doing drugs and trying to fit in is cool that it isn’t.”

Young Dro also shared that he wasn’t in a place to be a strong enough man for Fantasia when he was dating her.

Baller Mail

“Hey, Baller Alert Crew,

My mom is pregnant. Sounds like congratulations but here is one problem, she’s pregnant from my high school football coach. I’m already mad because my friends are picking on me because they date; what’s y’all opinion on how I should cope with this? Help me out.”

“Momma gotta have a life too,” said BT

“He should hit the coach’s daughter,” said Young Dro.

“You gotta withstand the storm. It’s not gonna last forever,” said BT.
