Welcome back to another episode of The Baller Alert Show. On this episode, Love & Hip Hop’s MariahLynn joins the cast to talk about Ralph Yarl, Jonathan Majors and Jalen Hurts.
The cast started the show by discussing the shooting against the Kansas City teen, Ralph Yarl. According to officials, Andrew Lester shot the teen after the teen accidentally went to the wrong house and rang the doorbell. Ralph was shot twice, once in the head.
“Andrew Lester is about to spend his last few days in jail because you just wanted to shoot a black kid. You wanted to kill him,” said Su Solo.
“He’s in stable condition,” said OCT.
The cast discussed Johnathan Majors being dropped from several business ventures following his domestic violence case.
“Do we agree that endorsements should be dropped before you are found guilty? asked Su Solo. ” These things come out, and they put a permanent stain on you,” Su Solo included.
“Did you guys see that Russell Westbrook is beefing with fans?” asked Ferrari.
“Y’all be forgetting that Westbrook is from Compton,” said BT.
“Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts got a 5-year $255 million extension, that’s a $179 million guaranteed,” said Ferrari.
MariahLynn
OCT kicked off MariahLynn’s segment by asking her, “For those who don’t know, can you give us a brief history of MariaLynn to let us know who you are because you have a story,” said OCT.
“A single mother raised me. My dad was in jail for ten years. My mom went through some trials and tribulations and at a young age. I had to step up and take care of my sisters,” said MariahLynn.
She included that she has custody of her younger sister, who is six years old. Despite having to take care of her sister and younger nephew, she shared they are all doing well in school, and her mom is now three years clean.
“I went through a lot. Not having a dad. Going through the foster care system. Being bounced around from family member to family member. Then being a teenager. Running away to my friend’s house.” said MariahLynn.
A lot of times, people ask, ‘Do I regret going on TV? Do you regret opening your life up?’ I said no, and I still stand on no. You don’t know how many people have reached out to me and been like, ‘Yo, I relate to this’ or, ‘You beat the odds that were given to you,” said MariahLynn.
MariahLynn shared that she owns all the rights and masters to her music.
“I am single and in no way ready to mingle. I am squinting at somebody right now,” said MariahLynn.
MariahLynn shared her love journey with Rich Dollaz.
“I do wish him the best, and I love him to death,” said MariahLynn. We’re not together, but when stuff happens, we reach out.”
“What’s next for MariLynn? Are you going back on the show?” asked Ferrari.
“I just don’t want to deal with low frequencies,” said MariahLynn.
MariahLynn shared that she has new music coming with Big Frieda and an all-girls album created by Trina and Supacindy.

“You need to stay out of grown folk’s business,” said Ferrari.
OCT shared that she thinks he should speak to his mom first before telling the dad.
