The Weeknd Admits His New Girl Is A “Movie Star” Amid Angelina Jolie Dating Rumors

The Weeknd is not shying away from the Angelina Jolie dating rumors.

On Friday, the Grammy-award winner debuted his highly anticipated fifth studio album, “Dawn FM.” Social media praised the project, but one record stuck out amongst the rest. Track number eight, “Here we Go… Again,” gave an ominous clue about a new love in his life who happens to be a Hollywood A-lister.

“And my new girl, she a movie star/My new girl, she a movie star/I loved her right, make her scream like Neve Campbell. But when I make her laugh, swear it cures my depressin’ thoughts,” the 31-year-old sang on the Tyler, the Creator-assisted track.

While The Weeknd didn’t name drop Jolie, fans pretty much concluded that the lyric was about her after the two were spotted several times last year spending time together. In June, the couple was spotted having dinner in Los Angeles. At the time, a source claimed that the two only met for a business meeting. However, two weeks later, they were seen at a concert in L.A. In September, the pair were seen again in the city dining at the same restaurant from June.

Jolie has not publicly admitted to the relationship, so it is all speculation at this point but see what Twitter had to say about the purported romance.
