Thief Breaks Into Drake’s LA Home, Busted Nearby While Carrying Items Down the Street

Nobody likes a thief. Thanks to fast-responding police, one is now behind bars after breaking into Drake’s Los Angeles mansion.

Thursday evening, a man allegedly broke into the Canadian rapper’s home, which alerted his security, who called the authorities. The guard told officers that he saw an unknown man leaving the premises and carrying items.

Cops went on a manhunt around the neighborhood searching for the suspect, and hours later, they came across a man who matched the description.

The suspect was walking down a street and just so happened to be carrying an item stolen from Drake’s home, TMZ reported. He was stopped and arrested.

A source told the outlet that Drake was not at home during the break-in. This is the second reported incident of someone trespassing on his house. Back in July, another man was arrested and had told authorities the rapper was his father.

Drake purchased his 10-bedroom mansion from Robin Williams last year for a reported $75 million price tag.
