A third man has been arrested in connection to Young Dolph‘s murder.
U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller revealed at a press conference Wednesday that 27-year-old Shundale Barnett was arrested and charged with being an after-the-fact accessory for helping Justin Johnson, the first identified suspect in Dolph’s murder. Barnett allegedly was a passenger in the vehicle with Johnson when he was captured in Indiana.
“Shundale Barnett is a person who, we believe, was providing assistance to Justin [Johnson] since we’ve been looking for him,” Miller said.
He is also being held in Indiana.
As previously reported, 23-year-old Justin Johnson was captured in Indiana Tuesday by U.S. Marshals for his alleged involvement in Dolph’s murder. Authorities also revealed Tuesday that 32-year-old Cornelius Smith was arrested back on Dec. 9 and indicted on charges of first-degree murder, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, employment of a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony, and theft of property over $10,000. He was also hit with an attempted murder charge involving Young Dolph’s brother, who was with the rapper at the time of the shooting.
