Tiffany Haddish has been taking Hollywood by storm by simply just being herself. And by making us laugh in everything that she’s been in and every time she hits a stage.
This past Friday, the “Girl’s Trip” star was honored by #TheHollywoodConfidential in conjunction with #EssenceMagazine, with her own night “An Evening With Tiffany Haddish” at the #SabanTheatre. They also gave her “Trailblazer” award for all of her accomplishments in comedy.

Tiffany has definitely worked and excelled her way up the celebrity totem pole, going from a struggling stand-up comedian to an A-List actress in just the past year. She has always been very open about her journey to success. She shared with the audience a few ways she chooses to approach her characters and the type of work she does.

“Honestly, when I read scripts I always think about 16-year-old Tiffany. Would 16-year-old Tiffany want to see this? Would 16-year-old Tiffany want to tell her friends ‘oh, oh, oh, guess what I’m about to go see at the movies? Let’s see if we can get a fake I.D. and sneak in…If it made me feel like the young me would be excited to see it, then that’s what I’m going to do.”

Tiffany was also surprised by Tyler Perry with a brand new Tesla just a few days ago. She is starring in his next movie “Nobody’s Fool.” She is the epitome of what hard work and dedication mean in terms of success and we are so very proud of our “Unicorn”. #SheReady.
