Law enforcement has arrested TikToker Mr. Prada in connection with the death of a therapist whose body was found wrapped in a tarp along a Louisiana highway over the weekend.
20-year-old Mr. Prada, whose real name is Terryon Ishmael Thomas, was wanted on several charges, including aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle following the murder of William Nicholas Abraham, 69. Abraham’s body was discovered on Sunday along Highway 51 between the community of Fluker and the Village of Tangipahoa, approximately 60 miles northeast of Baton Rouge, where he worked.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office revealed that Abraham’s body was found partially concealed along the roadside. The local coroner determined that the therapist died from blunt force trauma, ruling his death a homicide.
Thomas was arrested in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday evening. According to jail records, he remains in custody without bond. Police had been searching for Thomas after he fled a traffic stop in Baton Rouge, crashing a stolen black Lincoln MKZ before escaping the scene. A Baton Rouge police officer identified Thomas in a photo lineup as the driver who fled.
Thomas, originally from Newellton in Tensas Parish, had a significant following on TikTok, amassing over 3.9 million followers.
Authorities have yet to provide a motive for the murder, and it remains unclear whether Thomas and Abraham had any prior connection. Abraham, a licensed professional counselor and motivational speaker, was well-known in his community, with his office located near Baton Rouge’s Mid City South neighborhood.
