NBA Star Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs and his wife of 12 years seem to be heading for divorce. They’ve attempted to keep everything under wraps and out of the media but it looks like new details have surfaced showing the couple have split.
A divorce case filed two months ago that bears only the initials of the husband and wife is believed to be that of Tim and Amy Duncan who married on July 21, 2001. The petition says that the mysterious divorcing couple have two children, S.I.D. born June 27, 2005, and W.D.D., born Aug. 3, 2007.
These marriage problems have been in the making for quite some time. According to reports Tim Duncan has had concerns about his marriage for at least a year and even hired a private investigator to follow his wife.
It was Amy that filed for divorce in March. Tim asks that the court honors the prenuptial agreement.
