Toure Opens Up About Diddy’s Alleged Misconduct Involving a Family Member: “I Was Shocked and Mortified”

Toure recalled reaching out to Diddy to secure an internship at Bad Boy Records for a family member who was eager to break into the industry. At the time, Toure believed the internship would be an incredible opportunity for this young person’s career growth. “I thought the Bad Boy internship program would be something that might accelerate this young person’s career,” Toure said, unaware of the allegations that would surface years later about Diddy’s troubling behavior.

For the first few months, everything seemed to be going smoothly. The family member was thriving in the internship, and Toure was hopeful about their future prospects. However, things took a dark turn when the internship abruptly ended after Diddy reportedly made an inappropriate proposition.

“Either come home with me for the night or the internship is over,” Diddy allegedly told Toure’s family member. The young person refused and, as a result, the internship was terminated. Toure did not find out what had truly happened until years later, leaving him stunned and heartbroken.

“When I found out what had really happened, I was shocked. I was mortified. I was angry. I was upset on behalf of the family member that I had put into a horrible position, and I was blown away that Puff would do that to my family,” Toure confessed.

Many have questioned why Toure didn’t speak out sooner. In his post, he admitted that he didn’t think he would be believed at the time. He felt that his single story, without a larger context, wouldn’t be enough to make people see the truth about Diddy’s alleged behavior.

“Someone commented that I enabled him by saying nothing and I think that word is too big to be truly accurate in this situation. I did not save him from a story that could have sunk him. He was so powerful I knew I had to come with more than that to make a dent,” Toure explained, acknowledging the complexities of speaking out against someone with immense influence in the industry.
