The fun-filled day, which took place on Sunday, January 18, included not only the music that has shaped the state for decades, but also an assortment of classic cars. Collectors from across Florida showed up to share their fleet of fly vehicles with the audience.
As the day progressed, fans were met with high-energy performances from Miami’s finest, such as Trick Daddy, Trina, Major Nine, JT Money, and the biggest boss himself, Rick Ross. Boston Richey also rocked the mic at this sold-out concert. In addition to the sounds, local food vendors were also in attendance, keeping attendees fed during this 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. event. Collin’s Food, Henry’s Homemade Lemonade, and Garlick Seafood were just a handful of Black-owned restaurants on site.
The Florida Festival Car & Bike Show brought plenty of joy and Black unity, setting the tone for Martin Luther King Day. For those who could not make it this year, mark your calendars for the 2027 edition, which is sure to bring even more good energy to Miami.
