Michael Flynn Pardoned

Twitter Bans Michael Flynn, Sidney Powell, and Other QAnon Accounts

On Friday, Twitter removed a few accounts that promoted the QAnon conspiracy theory.

Michael Flynn, Sidney Powell, and other high-profile supporters that supported Donald Trump have been officially removed from Twitter.

After Wednesday’s riot at the U.S. Capitol, social media companies are trying to eliminate any further calls on violence and to crack down on misinformation.

Twitter released a statement to NBC News about the purge of the accounts.

“The accounts have been suspended in line with our policy on Coordinated Harmful Activity. We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behavior that has the potential to lead to offline harm, and given the renewed potential for violence surrounding this type of behavior in the coming days, we will permanently suspend accounts that are solely dedicated to sharing QAnon content.”

2021 is starting to look clearer after all.
